Custom furniture,
made easy. Since our founding in 1985, we have prided ourselves on being a small, full service woodworking
shop which can focus on the requirements of each customer. From custom furniture, carving, faux finishing, gilding and antique
restoration, quality craftsmanship has always been the standard our customers know us by. As cabinetmakers, turning your idea into an object of beauty and utility is our goal.
We also believe that having quality, handmade, custom furniture need not cost a fortune. Our customers are often surprised
to find how competitive our prices are when compared to factory -produced pieces. Since our estimates are free, it costs you
nothing to see how we compare.
As a restoration shop, we always strive to restore
the beauty of your item without making it look like it has been to a restoration shop, thereby maintaining your item's value.
We go about our restorations utilizing methods and materials faithful to the original craftsmen coupled with our thorough
knowledge of every element of antique furnishings. We can also make those not so old factory produced pieces like new (or
better) again.
Since 2001 we have been located in the heart of Baltimore's "Station North Arts District",
at 401-403 East Oliver Street, just two and a half blocks east of Pennsylvania Station. We are restoring these historic buildings, when time
allows. The buildings had been the bottling works for the adjacent Berger Brewery from 1850-1899. From 1900-1971 they
were the home of Burt Labeling Machines; makers of machines which attached labels to cans, from Campbell's soups, to many
food companies across the country. We hope to be here as long as each of these past occupants.
